Basic Afterlife Information
I just thought I'd make a post about the basic afterlife information I've accumulated.
Most people when they cross over find themselves in a world much like ours. It feels every bit as physical, except is is much more responsive to thought. People that OOBE and NDE, and information via credible mediums say it is a hyper-real physical experience - it feels even more real than this world.
Unless we desire to appear otherwise, most find themselves at the peak of physical health and youth. We are the same people there as here - same desires, same personality, same sense of humor, etc., and some have to undergo a healing and/or therapy time to deal with the mental effects/trauma/disorders that we can carry over with us. Others who have deeply entrenched beliefs often find themselves experiencing the manifestation of those beliefs because of the afterlife responsiveness to mind.
We are capable of doing all the things there, physically, that we do here. From what I've read and experienced, intimate touching (just touching, not talking about sex yet) and kissing is far more powerful an experience than it is here, and lovemaking, including sex, is far beyond what most here experience.
Where most fairly good, decent, regular people end up is a world that we can walk around in, have homes, have jobs if we wish doing what we want and which fulfill our desires and talents, learn things - how to play guitar, build, art classes, etc.. There is television broadcasting, movies, plays, restaurants, virtually anything you can imagine. You can eat, drink, smoke - eating and drinking there is more of an interactive art, since you don't need to eat and drink to sustain yourself. Eating and drinking is about enjoying taste and texture - and it might have some recuperative properties after an expense of energy.
We can re-experience any part of the lives we led on Earth and even adventure into different versions or paths in that life. There is a form of experience available that is like existing in simulations for learning or enjoyment. We can travel anywhere we want almost immediately or drive a vehicle if we prefer. There are cities and rural areas and vast open country, as well as infinite other planets and dimensions to explore.
Or, you can stay at home and garden, do arts and crafts, enjoy some coffee and smoke while watching the waves roll up on the beach. Most people relatively new to the afterlife evidence don't have any idea about these things - I sure didn't until I started reading and researching.
I find it incredibly comforting and exciting to find out that Irene and I will be able to continue the life we led here on the other side, only better! Much, much better! Irene LOVES the fact she doesn't have to worry about weeds when she works in her garden, and she can basically invent new kinds of flowers!
